Bernadette Rizzo grew up in London England. She emigrated to Australia in 1986. With her husband and four children.
She worked in research as an Industrial Chemist, and as a volunteer in Family support. After taking an interest in Counselling she volunteered for Lifeline Australia. During that time she studied Gestalt Therapy to Post Graduate Level.
She returned to England and worked in counselling carers and people in the early stages of Alzheimer. During that time she studied Clinical Hypnotherapy at the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapist (LCCH) to post Graduate Level.
She had a successful clinic in London and also volunteered at Marriage Care where she became interested in Relationship Counselling and furthered her studies at the University of York in Relationship Counselling.
On her return to Australia she took her Masters in Neurolinquistic programing (MNLP) With Tad James
She has completed training in "Virtual Lap Band Hypnosis" by the renown trainer Sheila Granger to assist in weight loss
She is Vice-President of The Australian Hypnotherapists Association and Queensland's workshop Co-ordinator.
